Quality Engineer - CE Conformity / Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

You analyze all EU policies, standards and legal requirements that are relevant to product compliance and CE requirements under Product Safety Act. You continuously monitor changes and evaluate the impact of these products on our products. You carry out internal training and workshops to sensitise employees to CE requirements, relevant guidelines, standards and legal requirements and to make them fit professionally. You develop internal processes, specifications and documents to reliably implement external compliance requirements. Changes in policies and standards are systematically transferred to our internal processes and ensure continuous updating You test and take welding assemblies such as piping according to the Pressure Equipment Directive and relevant standards. You also evaluate manufacturer documentation and ensure the quality of internal plant documentation You moderate risk assessments according to the Machinery and Printing Device Directive and ensure complete, comprehensible and standard documentation You accompany product and prototype developments as well as customer projects in all questions of product conformity. Take the CE coordination in plant engineering and ensure that all relevant requirements are met

You have a completed technical university degree in process engineering, piping and plant engineering or mechanical engineering – or a comparable qualification You bring at least three to five years of professional experience in quality Ideally, you have a completed auditor training and a training as a welding expert or comparable knowledge are advantageous You have knowledge of the processes and requirements of CE conformity assessment and are familiar with relevant EC and EU guidelines in plant and pipeline construction (MRL 2006/42/EC, DGRL 2014/68/EU) You draw your attention through strong sense of responsibility and high reliability You communicate clearly and convincingly at eye level and have strong self- and time management as well as enforcement ability to consistently advance issues You can master German and English in a safe manner in C1 level
