• Requirements analysis and design of complex FPGA architectures for applications in radio monitoring and radio tracking

• Development and implementation of FPGA modules focusing on communication interfaces and peripheral control in the military sector as well as signal processing

• Creation and maintenance of VHDL designs including simulation, verification and synthesis

• Analysis and evaluation of schematics with focus on FPGA integration, IO handling, clocking structures and high-speed interfaces

• Definition, description and coordination of hardware and software interfaces

• compliance and implementation of relevant standards (e.g. R&S, MIL standards) and specific customer requirements to ensure reliable and standard solutions

• Technical contact for FPGA-related questions in the project team

• Close cooperation with firmware, software and hardware teams for system integration

• Creation of technical documentation on development processes, interfaces, modules and test results

• Complete master's degree in the field of electrical engineering with focus on communication / communication technology or comparable

• Multiannual professional experience in FPGA development and digital hardware design

• Very good knowledge of VHDL

• Found experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGA designs

• knowledge of Python and Tcl for automation, build and test environment

• Ability to build and execute FPGA simulations using vunit

• Experience in handling broadband receivers, HF frontends and communication systems

• Very careful, structured and responsible operation

• High team capacity, fast conception and strong communication strength
