The Neurosurgery Clinic has three stations with 68 stationary and eight surveillance beds and a DWG Level 1 certified spinal center. The normal car area has 28 beds. In addition, the clinic also works in the neurooncological centre, the centre of the skull and the neurovascular network of East Saxony. As a clinic of maximum care, we offer the entire spectrum of neurosurgery. The main task is the care of patients with diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves at the highest international level. Tumor surgery in childhood and adulthood as well as epilepsy surgery are a special focus. Our state-of-the-art neurosurgical Intermediate Care (IMC) has 8 beds. Our IMC team supports and provides patients with neurosurgery images that are subject to surveillance.
