The landscape association Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) works as a municipal association with more than 20,000 employees for the 8.3 million people in the region. The LWL operates 35 support schools, 21 hospitals, 18 museums, two visitor centers and is one of the largest German helpers for people with disabilities. It thus performs tasks in the social field, in the help of disabled people and youth, in the psychiatry and in the culture, which are perceived appropriately in the west of the country. You carry and finance the Landscaping, whose tasks a Parliament with 125 members from the Westphalian municipalities has created. We are looking for the earliest possible entry date as Database administrator:in (w/m/d) A 11 LBesG NRW or until EG 11 TVöD VKA for our LWL.IT service department. We offer an unlimited full-time job (41 or 39 hours/week). Parttime is also possible. The grouping is based on qualifications and professional experience. Administration of the database environment Ensure the availability and security of the database software used Support in the introduction of new database procedures Backup and Recovery of DB Systems

Experiences in administration at least of a professional database management system, e.g. Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle Basic knowledge in handling various operating systems Willingness to continue training and to incorporate new technologies strong social competence and team skills advanced knowledge of German (at least C level)

and a completed (special) university degree (Diplom/Bachelor) e.g. from the fields of computer science, technology, mathematics or Other employees with comparable knowledge, e.g. as professional starters:in and cross-enterprises:with the willingness to continue professional development: with a completed training e.g. as a specialist informant:in, computer scientist:wife or IT system electronics:in or a comparable long-term professional experience in the aforementioned tasks.
