Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform (m/f/d)

Technical leadership: You take over the technical and technical leadership of the WOPS team, set technical guidelines and priorities and support the team in architectural, technology and operating decisions. Coordinate team: You coordinate technical tasks and responsibilities within the team and ensure transparent coordination, effective cooperation and high service quality Enable Cloud Power: You administrate and develop our cloud server infrastructure to AWS and ensure smooth application operation of our full managed cloud solutions. Promoting innovation: You are responsible for technical changes – from the rollout of new high availability systems to the modernisation of Wibu’s Public Cloud infrastructure to AWS. Keep an eye on systems: you monitor our services, identify technical risks and problems at an early stage and initiate appropriate measures. Responsibility for operation: Together with the team, you will ensure the high-availability operation of our hosting services in the cloud and in the data center as well as compliance with the secured Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Cross team collaboration: You actively promote technical cooperation with DevSecOps, development and other technical teams. Master technical challenges: You support complex technical questions in 2nd and 3rd level support and act as a technical savings partner for team and customers. Rethink processes: you analyze key figures, conduct measures and optimize processes, technical standards and processes with regard to quality, efficiency and scalability. Technical project management: You take over the technical management of implementation and migration projects – from conception and architecture to successful implementation. Optional People Leadership: If it suits your profile and interests, you can also take on disciplinary leadership responsibility for the team.

Completed IT degree (e.g. technical computer science) or comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience Long-term professional experience in system integration, including at least 5 years of professional experience in cloud services, in particular AWS Experience in the technical or technical management of teams, projects or complex technical projects Ability to prepare, represent and implement technical decisions together with an experienced team Experience in disciplinary leadership is a plus, but no requirement Embossed knowledge of containerization, load distribution and network management – especially with GitLab, Kubernetes and Terraform Knowledge of web servers such as Apache and Tomcat, SQL databases and Linux, especially Ubuntu and Debian High customer and service orientation Own-sponsored and structured way of working, hand-on-mindedness and joy in sharing knowledge and advancing technical issues Language fit: German (C1) and English (B2)
