The Hopp-Kindertumorzentrum Heidelberg (KiTZ) is a joint institution of Heidelberg University Hospital, the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) and the University of Heidelberg. As a “Comprehensive Cancer Center”, the KiTZ combines interdisciplinary patient care with excellent cancer research from a single source. At KiTZ, personalized oncology is followed as a centre-wide program.

A “Mobile Study Team” was established in the Clinical Trial Unit as part of a pilot project. This team has the task of supporting patients from Phase I/II studies at home: Full study visas in the hospital are replaced by home visas to reduce the logistical and psychological burdens of study participation. The project is accompanied scientifically. We are now looking for a specialist to support the team. Implementation of Phase I/II study visas as part of the mobile study team at the patients in the hospital and at home administration of antineoplastic or supportive therapy in the domestic environment (e.g. chemotherapy) Implementation of basic diagnostics (samples, ECG examination) in the home environment Documentation of data as part of the scientific accompanying study on the mobile study team

Specialist medical certificate for pediatric and youth medicine (alternative: specialist certificate) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing A reliable, effective and independent operation Representative social competence and team capacity KFZ licence class B Knowledge of oncological studies is desirable, but no requirement
