Consultant in Strategic Purchasing (a*)

You coordinate and manage the strategic and operational purchasing processes for various complex and value-intensive product groups in the purchase of digital and services, such as telecommunications or consulting services. In close cooperation with the specialist departments, you carry out complex calls and take into account the internal regulations and the requirements of public procurement law. You prepare contracts and conditions for national and pan-European individual and framework contracts independently, negotiate them sovereignly and accompany them until the conclusion. You control contract management over the entire term – including contract controlling and the clarification of contract failures. You develop and implement product group and procurement strategies, keep track of the market. Service providers and suppliers qualify, evaluate and develop to continuously increase quality, cost-effectiveness and reliability. You bring your own ideas to the strategic development and optimization of the purchase and implement them proactively.

Economic engineering, in BWL or in a comparable field of study – forms the basis of your profile; Alternatively, you are willing to acquire this qualification professionally. You have several years of professional experience in purchasing and know the economic connections along the value chain. Ideally, you have profound knowledge in purchasing and contract law; Knowledge of public procurement law (e.g. sector regulation) is advantageous. You work safely with IT applications, especially with MS Office, and have basic knowledge in SAP MM. Communication strength, negotiation skills and team skills are just as good as a high level of commitment. An entrepreneurial way of thinking, openness and a very good organizational ability shape your actions, and you also have fluent German skills.
