Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) - Wind & Site Assessment in Renewable Energies

Demanding tasks in a dedicated project team that you actively contribute. You take responsibility for expert opinions, coordinate external service providers and contribute to continuously improving our processes and standards – always with the aim of ensuring the quality of our renewable energy projects.

You'll set up wind potential and energy yield forecasts for wind farms. You carry out due diligence checks for internal and external wind yield forecasts. You analyze location complexity and wind field simulations according to FGW guidelines, IEC standards and internal standards. You create loss calculations for sound, shadow and environmental requirements and document them for approval procedures. You evaluate wind turbine types with regard to economic efficiency and location conditions. External expert opinions and wind measurements (LiDAR, mast measurements) commission, coordinate and evaluate yourself. As an interface between external service providers and project teams, you are looking for smooth cooperation in all project phases. You develop processes and standards and ensure the quality of opinions and assessment procedures. You represent Encavis in relevant councils and bodies.

You have a degree in renewable energies, meteorology, environmental sciences, process engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or a comparable field of expertise. Multiannual experience in the preparation of expert opinions and the analysis of wind potentials using relevant guidelines (e.g. FGW TR 6, IEC). You know the relevant laws and standards such as BImSchG, TA-Lärm and BauNVO and can handle it safely. With software like WindPro, WAsP, Wake2e and GIS applications as well as meteorological databases like ERA5, you work routined and efficient. You can identify methodological and project-specific risks and actively contribute your knowledge to the projects. Self-responsible and structured work is of course for you, as well as team skills and flexibility. You can also work constructively and solution-oriented in the transaction team in M&A processes under pressure. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
