(Senior) Applied ML Engineer IPAI (m/f/d)

As an experienced and practical Applied Machine Learning Engineer (m/w/d), you enrich the IPAI Engineering Team . With your commitment, you can translate ambitious ideas into robust end-to-end-ML systems within the IPAI ecosystem. You connect research, infrastructure and application. The role combines ''Forward-Deployed Engineering'' with platform thinking: Hands-on, where necessary; strategic, where necessary – always with the aim of successfully making the IPAI member and partners.

Interact as a 'Forward-Deployed Engineer' directly with the teams of our partners to secure project progress, minimize technical risks and accelerate delivery. Develop solutions that make our IPAI-Member successful. Work directly with partners to design, prototype and implement ML solutions for specific problems. Cover the entire ML product cycle and contribute to building end-to-end LL systems that include data and metadata management, training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring. Take the technical lead and offer architectural advice to help teams choose tools, system design and balance the advantages and disadvantages of modern ML stacks. Work closely with internal IPAI departments (e.g. partner management, product strategy etc.) and deliver added value for the offering of IPAI. Strengthen the technological foundation of IPAI by contributing to reusable patterns and platform components as well as by mentoring and sharing best practices. .
