What we plan together: As part of your work student activity, you will get comprehensive insights into the purchase of REWE Group Buying GmbH in the area of own brands – vinegar, oil, baking & spices. You learn how innovative products are created, how assortments are developed and what distinguishes successful brands in retail. What you do with us: You're in the middle of it: You get to know the day-to-day business in purchasing our own brands – from the product idea to the placement on the shelf. You think analytical: You support the creation of market and competition analyses as well as internal reporting and evaluations. You have an eye for detail: You prepare tastings, provide product data and support in listing processes as well as operational tasks. You work closely with others: you communicate with suppliers as well as internal interfaces – for example the category management of REWE and Penny as well as marketing and quality assurance.

What convinces us: First of all, your personality: your communication strength, self-initiative and reliability characterize you. You like to work independently, take responsibility and bring you to your team with great commitment. You have great interest in food, a high affinity for numbers and are flexible in working design. First practical experiences, for example through internships in trade or in consumer goods, are advantageous. Good English skills in word and writing help you to move safely in an international working environment. You are still immatriculated for at least two semesters in an economic, agricultural or nutritional degree course and brings us 15–20 hours per week for your work. Good knowledge of how to deal with current MS Office programs, especially Outlook and Excel, complete your profile.
