Controller - Project Management / Finance / Project Controlling (m/w/d)

We are an independent engineering research institute in the Denkfabrik in the scientific harbour of Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. We work with large and small companies in both national and international scientific projects and in order research. They are responsible for publicly funded projects, including the examination of grant decisions, project opening, time monitoring and documentation They create payment requirements, misuses and proof of use in accordance with legal requirements and prepare for price reviews You check, discuss and release project-related invoices in DATEV and assign them to the funding projects Ensure project accounting taking into account commitment, project reference and funding requirements They support in project controlling by coordinating documents, time recording and budget planning

You have at least two years of professional experience in financial and project controlling, ideally in the context of publicly funded research or development projects You have a completed economic study or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance or controlling, for example at the level of specialist or business They have knowledge of the guidelines of public funding providers such as BMBF, BMWK, EU funding programmes, which is advantageous They are safe in handling MS Excel, have interest in digital financial processes and willingness to work into new applications They have a pronounced numerical understanding, accuracy and a structured, independent working method They are strong in communication and able to connect different interests between internal and external partners:inside solution-oriented You have very good German skills (min. C1 level) and good English skills (min. B2 level)
