In this position, you perform exciting tasks such as the installation, configuration and administration of MS SQL Server databases. They ensure that our database environments always run optimally by performing migrations, error analyses, performance tuning and monitoring. Your expertise in database security is required when it comes to developing and implementing backup and recovery processes. You implement and maintain Always On Availability Groups to ensure highest availability. In addition, manage Windows servers, Active Directory, as well as user and group management, including setting up and managing email mailboxes. You are responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and backup of IIS web servers. In 3rd level support, you can edit incidents and service requests in the ticket system. Automate and optimize administrative tasks with PowerShell and T-SQL and maintain technical documentation.

You have a completed computer science study or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Alternatively, you have an IT training (e.g. specialist in system integration) with multi-year professional experience. They bring well-founded knowledge and multiannual experience in the administration of MS SQL Server (from version 2017), especially in the areas of high availability and monitoring. You have solid knowledge of the Windows Server and Active Directory administration as well as IT security (BSI compliant). You have experience in installing, configuring, maintaining and securing IIS web servers. Ideally, you have certifications in MS SQL Server (e.g. MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA). Experience in the automation of administrative tasks with PowerShell is advantageous. In order to carry out these tasks, very good German skills (C1) are optimal. They are distinguished by a careful and structured way of working and want to actively contribute to our team.
