As a Forward Deployed Architect (m/w/d), you connect problem clarification, target images, architectural decisions, prototyping and implementation with measurable results. At the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin you work in a creative environment and can actively use the offers there. Takeover of architectural responsibility for AI-native delivery projects, from problem clarification, target image, context and assumptions to understandable architectural decisions Designing safe and flexible solution architectures in which people, AI systems, agents, data, tools and existing applications work together meaningfully Development of understandable decision bases, trade-off analyses and address-oriented documents for technical teams, clients and stakeholders Validation of architectural assumptions through prototypes, technical spikes, evaluations and early delivery results and the pragmatic, iterative and close to implementation Development of reusable AI-native principles, patterns and guidelines You are working closely with Forward Deployed Engineers (m/w/d), KI Reliability & Quality Engineers (m/w/d), Enterprise Architecture Management and Areas

A completed study with IT focus, e.g. in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science, a comparable qualification or relevant professional experience with Multiannual experience as Solution Architectin, Software Architectin, KI Architectin, Technical Lead, IT Business Analyst with Architecture Focus or in a comparable technical-conceptual role Experience in solving complex problems and guides sustainable architectural decisions even in the event of uncertainty and conflicts of objectives Knowledge of modern software, integration, data and platform architectures as well as current AI and agent-based methods know-how about current architectural approaches such as microservices, self-contained systems or data mesh as well as technology trends such as cloud and container; Experience in data architecture management is a plus clear, partnership and solution-oriented communication skills in different stakeholder configurations; Experience in banking or fintech environment is welcome Mobile work is very self-evident, as is the majority presence on site.
