Category Management Working Student (m/f/d)

As an online supermarket, the heart of our business is of course the Picnic app. The Category Management Team ensures that our digital shelves are perfectly equipped with local products in all 6 regions. As a working student, you are the operational backbone of our team. With logical thinking and smart automation tools, you make our processes a bit better every day. You work closely with Category, Brand and cross-functional teams to solve delivery bottlenecks, check data and ensure that our app is always perfectly maintained for customers. Article creation & Onboarding: You take over the installation and creation of new products in the system and make sure that all necessary information from the first day is correct and ready for our customers. Tool support & validation: You accompany the introduction and use of our new automation tool. As an important instance for quality control, you critically question processes and make sure that the system outputs are correct. Product performance monitoring: You keep an eye on sales and inventory anomalies. If a top priority item is not sold or displayed as unavailable, you will immerse yourself in the system to find the reason why our digital shelves always achieve maximum sales. Content & Storefront Optimization: If incomplete product presentations inhibit sales, you will quickly and tactical – e.g. by quickly lifting missing product photos or incomplete article information in the app. Supply Chain & Inbound tuning: You support the team in daily commercial questions about the supply chain and clarify product delivery problems to ensure a smooth process in your categories. Teamwork: You offer strong operational support across different priority levels and work hand in hand with the entire category team to optimally balance daily tasks.

Advanced bachelor's degree or currently in the Master's degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a comparable degree course. A sharp eye for detail, strong logical thinking and a natural curiosity to look behind the scenes and solve operational puzzles. Excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude to take over responsibility and routine in dealing with daily workflows. A real affinity for the food industry and enthusiasm for working with new software and automated systems. Time to support our team for 16 - 20 hours a week. Current knowledge of German and English.
