Head of Community Books (m/w/d)

in parttime with 20 hours per week.

An interesting and varied task area with many design options is waiting for you: • organisation and management of the borrowing and of events • Media procurement • Continuous adaptation of books to contemporary requirements • Cooperation and contact management with specialist associations and local institutions • Public relations • Applications for funding • Administration of the library bank

We expect: • at least one middle school degree. Education in the library sector is advantageous, but not necessary • independent, careful and independent working • a high level of reliability, ready-to-use and team capability • friendly and accommodating appearance • contact-friendly and open in dealing with audiences and reader wishes • good German in word and writing • good computer knowledge in the field of MS Office applications • good access to the media represented in the library and openness to new media (digital media, gaming) • readiness for flexible time sharing mainly in the afternoon and evening hours at the opening hours of the municipal library and occasionally at evening events
