Quality management and benchmarking of transport partners as well as central supplier selection and evaluation Control of legal and technical obligations in contract management and monitoring of the transport market Cost control and implementation of cost leadership in production means to increase efficiency Optimization of productivity through need analysis and coordination of measures with operational management Support in driver recruiting and improving recruiting situation in cooperation with fleet management Creation and communication of monthly key figures reports for control and action derivation Ensuring compliance with statutory and operational safety regulations and implementing Meyer & Meyer compliance guidelines

You are qualified as a transport manager, specialist in freight transport or in a comparable position and have well-founded know-how in transport management You have successfully completed a study with logistics reference or a commercial training in the field of forwarding and logistics and brings relevant professional experience with You work structured, independent and keep an overview even in challenging situations – Flexibility and solution orientation You communicate professionally and safely with customers, transport partners and driving personnel – both at eye level and high-speed You have knowledge of the German language that is safe from negotiation; good English skills or other foreign languages are a plus
