We, the Data, Analytics & BI (FS/FD) division at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, have a clear and ambitious mission: We enable Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to become an efficient data-driven organization. We provide advanced BI tools for effective financial management, drive innovations with AI and provide robust data management tailored to MBFS's strategy. As a result, we develop data as a strategic asset and create sustainable value for people, processes and products. Our team provides the data warehouse for the MBFS headquarters to enable reporting for finance and controlling. This area includes credit risk management, credit risk commissioning/IFRS9, controlling and asset liability management. Our mission in the BI Platform Products Team is to ensure the best possible data quality for the global financial and leasing portfolio. These data are the basis for reporting and management decisions. In addition, we are the central interface between IT and the departments and control the Data Warehouse developments to ensure reporting requirements. Tasks and responsibilities: Independent analysis of data quality problems in the Data Warehouse and its structured documentation Active support of the team in testing and data analysis in databricks using SQL, Python and Power BI Development and maintenance of Python scripts for automated data validation Working on team-wide projects and operational tasks in the BI Platform Products Team Creation and updating of training documents and documentation for internal and external stakeholders Support in identifying optimization potentials in existing data processes The activity can start from October 2026.

Studies in economics, such as Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economic Engineering, Computer Science, International Business or a Mathematics/Nature Science degree course Secure English knowledge in word and writing, German knowledge is advantageous Very good communication and presentation capability Secure and independent handling of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) High level of autonomy as well as the ability to work independently on new topics and to advance tasks without close guidance Embossed hand-on mentality and willingness to actively support the team in day-to-day business Commitment, team capacity, analytical thinking, strategic and proactive functioning Experience in Jira/Confluence is advantageous First experiences in database queries in SQL or Python are advantageous Experience with Databricks is beneficial Very good organizational ability and time management A high degree of initiative and motivation to take responsibility Open mindset and high learning readiness Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
