Service Technician (m/f/d)

Providing high-quality on-site service, including installation, moving and commissioning of complex Lam semiconductor systems to the customer. Diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical problems by troubleshooting as well as analysis of causes at component level to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. Up-to-date expertise on semiconductor production plants and Lam products through training, training and certification. Care for accurate service documentation and effective coordination between Lam and customer stakeholders. As a specialist, Lam represent to customers and ensure excellent service quality and high customer satisfaction. Proactive coordination with customers through transparent communication of opportunities and challenges to strengthen confidence and enable joint success. A comprehensive training programme is offered both on site and in one of our training facilities in the USA, Asia or Austria, complemented by practical training (on-the-job) in Asia. Depending on your experience, the training period can be up to six months.

Technical degree (Diplom/Bachelor) in microelectronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related technical field as well as at least 2 years of professional experience. Ability to securely read and interpret electrical and mechanical circuit diagrams, diagrams and user manuals. First experience in installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor plants in the fields of ETCH, deposition, single-wafer cleaning or platinumg is of advantage. readiness and ability in a clean room environment using personal protective equipment or To work clean room clothes. Ability to frequently enter into different postures (e.g. bend, bend, stretch, go, sit, rotate, hoke, knee, climb, stand) to perform work tasks over longer periods of time. Occasional readiness to travel within Europe or Asia according to customer requirements. Flexibility with regard to different working time models, including compacted working weeks, alternative shift models and, if necessary, overtime and readiness to call. Very good knowledge of English is necessary. Basic knowledge of the German language or knowledge of the Mandarin language are a plus. EU passport or a valid work permit for Germany is required.
