The Department of Forensic Psychiatry is responsible for the Mass Control in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. For this purpose, it provides criminal therapeutically effective treatment and rehabilitation services for psychiatric patients:inside (§63 StGB) and addiction patients:inside (§64 StGB). The Forensic Therapy Centre (FTZ) provides work-therapeutic workshop areas, vocational training courses, ergo- and art therapy, sports therapy and project-related groups.

Instructions for patients:in the context of work therapy Accompanying patients:in the training to/from the carpenter:in or within the framework of training modules, placement of practical and theoretical contents as well as contact care to reference groups Further development and co-design of the (therapeutic) offer in the carpentry Implementation of typical work Coordination of orders Close cooperation and cooperation with colleagues in the multi-professional treatment team Active participation in therapeutic meetings and documentation of treatment procedures

A completed training as a carpenter:in Possible practical experience in the guidance of clients: females and/or trainees as well as pleasure in the ability of others to work in quality A strong specialist and social competence A structured and independent way of working and great organisational skills Innovation readiness, resilience and the necessary commitment to treat mentally ill offenders: Possibly already professional pre-experiences in the field of (forensic) psychiatry, addiction therapy or offender:internal treatment
