Tasks

Information security is not a paper tiger for us, but a living practice. In this position, you actively shape security processes and make an important contribution to the protection of critical IT infrastructures and sensitive data. In close cooperation with specialist areas, IT areas and security management, you contribute significantly to ensuring information security through comprehensive consulting and methodological knowledge.

• Participation in creating IT security concepts according to BSI-IT basic protection and relevant standards
• Coordination and technical support of assumptions
• Tuning to IT security requirements with contact persons
• Participation in the treatment of vulnerabilities including the development of practical improvement measures
• Participation in carrying out and preparing security checks/audits including documenting and deriving measures
• Analyze technological innovations (for example new platforms, cloud solutions, specialist procedures) under IT security and compliance points
• Proactive participation in the analysis of safety risks in close cooperation with IS risk management, operational safety management and IT operations
• Participation in documenting and tracking measures related to land protection checks and risk analyses
• Care for knowledge management and implementation of IT security training and awareness-raising measures
• Participation in creating guidelines, recommendations for action and technical analyses for IT departments and decision-making bodies
• Work in projects, working groups and bodies

Activity range

Our area supports and advises the operational implementation of IT security requirements in the line business of the IT department. This includes planning, developing, providing and operating IT infrastructure and applications for the DRV Bund. We ensure that the diverse tasks of IT security in the IT department are coordinated and uniformly controlled.

Profile

• Completed university studies (Diplom (University of Applied Sciences) / Bachelor) in the IT field or an equivalent qualification, for example, due to IT-specific qualification, completed IT training with corresponding multi-year, relevant professional experience or comparable long-term practical experience in IT field
• Current first practical experience in IT security/information security
• Knowledge of common IT security standards, in particular BSI-IT basic protection or comparable frameworks
• Analytical and solution-oriented operation, structured documentation
• Embossed communication and team skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Rounded by a high degree of coordination, reliability and motivation to actively shape security processes
