For the communication area, we are looking for a dedicated/n intern who is passionate about media, analysis and the impact of corporate communication. In our team Newsmanagement & Media Analytics you are in the middle of what is happening when it comes to how Mercedes-Benz is perceived in the media, in the public and in social media. You help us identify trends, assess the media situation daily and create data-based decision-making bases. These tasks are waiting for you: Support for daily news monitoring: Summary and preparation of the current media situation for various internal target groups Collaboration in Media Analysis: Support for the creation of quantitative and qualitative media resonance analyses on corporate, brand, product and CEO topics Participation in the topic and crisis early detection: Identification and evaluation of potential crisis topics in the daily news events Support in the creation of briefings: ad hoc summaries and topic-specific media dossiers on current corporate events Data-based communication assessment: cooperation in the evaluation and interpretation of communication codes and social media data Project support: support in controlling external service providers, reporting and further development of dashboards and analysis tools Live Analytics: Implement and benefit of dashboards for real-time analysis of communication worldwide This is what we expect: Close to practice: insight into the strategic corporate communication of an international large group Varied tasks: from day-to-day business to ad hoc requests to project-related work Networking: Cooperation with experienced communication experts within and outside the company The activity can start from October 2026.

This is ideally brought with you: Course: Journalistics, Public Relations, Communication Sciences, Media Management or Similar Language skills: Very good German knowledge (C1) as well as reliable English knowledge in word and writing Media competence: You know well in the (international) media landscape IT Affinity: Secure handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); first experiences with analysis or monitoring tools are advantageous Analytical Thinking: You have fun working with data, can quickly identify relationships and summarize content concise Communicative skills: You can formulate content in a comprehensible and addressable manner Own initiative and team spirit: You work structured, independent and you want to pack up with many interfaces in a dynamic environment Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
