At the SOS Children's Village Saar we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, parttime (19.25 hours/Where.) As a Springerin in our stationary youth assistance, you can support five living groups on our children's village grounds. You are an important and reliable support for young people as well as for colleagues in the housing groups. As a Springerin, You support our five stationary housing groups on the children's village grounds and flexibly integrate your educational skills into the respective teams. You accompany and support children and young people in everyday educational life and help them develop their individual skills and development opportunities. You create a reliable, valuable and development-promoting everyday life and give young people guidance and security. You adapt flexibly to different groups, ages, needs and educational situations. You take responsibility in the group daily and work together with their respective teams in a trustful and collaborative manner. You help children and adolescents develop self-employment, self-confidence and social skills. You encounter challenging situations with calm, clarity and educational professionalism. You are responsible for the conscientious implementation of child and care protection and act according to our technical standards and protection concepts. You document relevant educational developments and observations carefully and comprehensible. You constructively bring your observations, experiences and technical assessments into cooperation with the teams.

You have a state-approved degree as an educatorin or a university degree as a social workerin or Social education or a comparable educational qualification. You meet children and adolescents facing, respectful and at eye level and take their individual personalities, needs and life stories seriously. A professional approach to proximity and distance is of course part of your educational attitude. You can shape sustainable relationships while preserving the necessary personal and professional boundaries. You have a good educational sense and can remain calm, clear and safe in challenging or unexpected situations. Thanks to your flexibility and openness, you can quickly adjust to different housing groups, children and youth as well as different team configurations. At the same time you bring the necessary reliability with: Even with changing locations, you are a stable, authentic and trustworthy reference person for young people. You like to work in the team, communicate value-estimating, binding and solution-oriented and understand different professional perspectives as enrichment.
