Head of Asset Management Germany (m/f/d)

The real estate portfolio is a central value driver and an essential part of the implementation of the strategic corporate objectives. In this key role, you take over the holistic control and further development of an extensive real estate portfolio over the entire life cycle – from strategic planning to investment and optimization measures to exit decisions. You combine strategic thinking with operational implementation, drive complex real estate projects actively and assume leadership responsibility for at least one person with full professional and disciplinary responsibility. You act as a central interface between internal stakeholders and external partners and make a significant contribution to the sustainable value increase of the portfolio. Your tasks: Portfolio strategy: further development and active management of the real estate portfolio incl. Location strategies, scenario analyses and derivation of sound investment, optimization and exit recommendations. Asset optimization: identification and implementation of value-enhancing measures along the entire real estate life cycle taking into account operational and financial objectives. Rental & negotiation: Development and implementation of rental and occupancy concepts as well as independent control of negotiations with tenants, landlords and other market participants. Project development: initiation, design and control of development and usage concepts for existing properties and properties incl. feasibility analyses and cost-effectiveness assessments. Property Management: Building, controlling and monitoring of effective property management for the associated portfolio. Project management: overall management of complex real estate projects (e.g. development, refurbishment, optimization) from planning to implementation – including budget, time and quality control. Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, control of external service providers and disciplinary and professional leadership of at least one person.

Your requirement profile: Education: Completed studies in the field of real estate, business, architecture, civil engineering or a comparable qualification. Professional experience: multi-year (approximately 10+ years) relevant experience in asset management, real estate development or project management, ideally in a commercial environment. Leadership competence: experience in leadership of teams as well as strong ability to develop employees and efficiently manage projects. Expertise: Funded know-how in the management of complex real estate projects, in development and planning processes, as well as in the handling of economic indicators and business cases. Communication & Negotiation: Embossed communicative skills, safe occurrence and demonstrable experience in negotiations with various stakeholders. Languages & Working methods: German and English skills, high self-responsibility, structured and hands-on procedures and high readiness to travel.
