As a data platform engineer focusing on data governance and data quality, you develop technical solutions to ensure data quality and data integrity within our cloud data platform. You implement and operate automated processes for data validation, profiling and monitoring with tools such as Informatica, dbt and Snowflake. You are also the technical partner:in the Product Owner for Data Governance and Quality. To do this, you will implement priority requirements in technical concepts and solutions. In addition, you develop and maintain Data Quality Rules, connect them with the Data Pipelines and allow automated quality testing along the data streams. You support the technical and organizational implementation of our Data Catalog, in particular by connecting different source systems as well as the integration of lineage and metadata management components. You actively participate in the establishment of a company-wide metadata management. You ensure that data quality processes are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and are continuously tested. You also take responsibility for the maintenance and optimization of the cloud data platform in terms of governance and quality requirements. A close cooperation with other Data Platform Engineers is also part of your activity. This brings your expertise into joint architectural and development decisions, such as the implementation of 'data privacy by design'. This is how you contribute to an outstanding user experience for our Data Analysts.

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in (economic) informatics, natural sciences or social sciences or a comparable qualification or bring equivalent professional experience. You will also have at least three years of experience in the development and implementation of the data governance and data diversity environment (implementation of frameworks and technical standards) as well as sound knowledge in data modeling and architecture. You also have practical experience with tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Informatica IDMC and Power BI. Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, is a matter of course. You have good programming knowledge in Python and have already implemented data quality projects, for example with GX Core. The potential of artificial intelligence for data governance and data quality fascinates you. You follow the trends for your topic and are always up-to-date.
