IT System Engineer Cloud & Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• Independently responsible implementation and configuration of cloud-based servers and storages, backups and monitoring systems
• Construction and development of cloud services
• Ensuring cloud infrastructure operation
• Creation of network analyses, data reports and operating documentation
• Monitoring existing systems to ensure structural integrity
• Fixing technical disruptions and developing effective automation solutions

Your qualifications:

That's what you bring

• Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of (economic) informatics, economic engineering, economics, digitization or training in IT
• Experience in the installation and configuration of Private Cloud or Hybrid clouds (e.g. KVM, Cloudstack), servers and storage systems (e.g. Dell EMC, NetApp or A.)
• Knowledge of Data Protection (e.g. NetApp SnapCenter, Veeam Backup & Recovery o. Commvault), Automation (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) and Monitoring (e.g. prtg, Prometheus)
• Know-Hows in network topics, block storage solutions and HCl systems in the Linux environment as well as with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP) are desirable
• High level of self-responsibility and self-responsibility as well as the readiness for continuous further development
• Very good communication skills as well as a pronounced analytical and problem-solving thinking capability
