Educator (m/f/d)

The IB in Thuringia offers a wide range of social services and vocational education, which are linked both internally and externally through a variety of cooperative relations with offices, authorities, social and social institutions, in order to implement a promising and individually tailored help. The main areas of work are education, work in daycare facilities, migration aids, care, school guidance and various educational measures.

Your tasks:

• educational support and support of children in everyday life
• Designing a safe, reliable and value-estimating habitat
• Support for children in the development of self-employment and social skills
• Monitoring and assessment of individual development and support needs
• Implementation of individual assistance and support planning
• educational work with children with stressful life and relationship experiences
• Crisis intervention and professional handling of challenging behaviour
• Cooperation with youth offices, schools, daycare centres, doctors and other cooperation partners
• Documentation and preparation of development and progress reports
• Participation in team and case meetings and Supervision
• active participation and further development of the educational concept and the protection concept

Your profile:

• Joy in working with children
• Patience, empathy and an appreciation attitude
• Responsibility and ability to stay calm even in difficult situations
• Willingness to work in shiftwork
• Team skills and desire to develop pedagogical work together
