As an apprentice/trainer, you can immerse yourself in the world of circular economy and sustainability as part of the Zentek Group based in Cologne-Porz. You learn to take responsibility, work independently and deal with customers. From the start, you are closely involved in the operational processes. You support investigating important work and business processes. The focus is on the analysis and digitization of processes. You help to simplify the handling of large amounts of data by finding, arranging and preparing data sources for use. You actively participate in measures to improve data quality and support the planning, implementation and control of projects. You participate in the creation of user rights, access, data retention and data protection concepts to ensure data protection and data security. During your daily work, you take into account the provisions and operational requirements for data protection, IT security and quality assurance. You can prove your knowledge and thus contribute to the success of the company during your training.

You have a general (professional)high school with good grades in German and mathematics. You are passionate about IT topics and have ideally already gained first knowledge in computer science. You are a team player, go open and friendly to well-known and new interlocutors and have good communication and contact skills. You have the pleasure of working and solving challenges and are open to varied tasks. You have good knowledge of German and English. The words engagement, endurance and reliability are not strange to you. Your strong self-motivation to acquire you independent and initiative expertise, your high level of commitment, your absolute service orientation and your organizational ability complete your personality profile. Good knowledge of the current Office versions, especially Microsoft 365 and teams, are desirable. First contact points with data types or databases or with the Python programming are advantageous.
