They are responsible for managing and controlling the group of streets and green areas with currently 13 employees taking into account the objectives of the overall strategy Buxtehude 2035 as well as the climate protection concept and accompanying change processes. They represent the group of experts in the relevant political bodies and in relation to the management. As a manager, you motivate your employees cooperatively and value-adding. They are responsible for the sustainable planning, tendering, implementation, monitoring and settlement of all urban road and civil engineering measures, in particular the new construction and renewal and entertainment activities of transport facilities, bridges and port facilities. They supervise the construction of developers and utilities. They are impetus for sustainable and climate-friendly development of municipal infrastructure. They are responsible for financial responsibility for the personnel and material budgets allocated to the group (investment volume: approx. € 3.4 million per year). They develop specific content objectives and continue to write them. They are ready to take evening appointments if necessary.

You have completed a university degree (TH/TU) in Civil Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, completed (graduate degree, Master or Bachelor). As a dedicated manager, you have already acquired well-founded planning and construction-relevant expertise in practice. Knowledge of procurement law and administrative experience are desirable. They have very good project management skills, complemented by communication and cooperation skills, decision-making and negotiation and organisational skills.
