Number: MER00040CB The Mercedes‐Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (RD‐MP) division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range and the quality of all parts of Mercedes‐Benz vehicles. In close partnership with around 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, we ensure the reliable supply of worldwide production sites. Our international positioning with locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina ensures close connection to production and enables quick, efficient decisions. The key drivers of our work are the future topics of autonomous driving, connectivity and alternative drives. As part of the central purchasing organization, the NPM purchase of Mercedes‐Benz AG is responsible for the procurement of non-production materials and services.
