Your role

Do you want to shape the semiconductor market in an interdisciplinary environment? Are you passionate about deep technology and talent in dealing with people? In the area of Metrology Processes at ZEISS's Semiconductor Manufacturing division, we jointly shape the future of semiconductor technology with unique measurement processes for the production of high-precision lithography optics. In the Design & Algorithms EUV Systems group of the Surface Figure Metrology EUV department, we develop, qualify and implement algorithms for standard shape measurement processes on the Picometer scale. You develop, qualify and improve standard measuring processes with highest accuracy requirements to ensure the quality of lithography optics

You design and optimize measurement strategies and calibration methods for complex optical measurement processes to ensure nano and picometer performance

You develop and implement algorithms to improve evaluation, calibration and correction in interferometric measurement processes and integrate them into the manufacturing process

You analyze the performance of the measurement processes both experimentally and theoretically, develop improvement measures and coordinate their implementation

You take over the management of work packages in this area and ensure successful implementation

Your profile

You can present a very good degree in engineering or science, preferably with doctorate You have technical expertise in technical optics and preferably also in the field of industrial measurement technology You have experience in modeling and data-based analysis of complex systems You have programming skills (preferably in Python) and ideally experience in professional software development You have a strong curiosity, joy in complex technical issues and the willingness to work intensively on new topics. High self-motivation, self-organization, pronounced hands-on mentality and team skills are among your strengths You communicate safely in German and English, at least in B2 level
