They lead the Training Media Production group within the Training Media department and thus assume an important leadership role in the further development of virtual training solutions in the maritime environment. They lead the group with their two teams of software development and visualization professionally, disciplinaryly and value-estimating. They develop the group according to the requirements and promote collaborative cooperation within the group and with other areas. They are responsible for the operational performance of the software products over the entire life cycle as well as for ensuring, maintaining and developing the necessary skills in the field of training media production as well as for license and supplier management. They regularly create, maintain and update cost and capacity planning for the area of responsibility. They control and monitor compliance with software development and visualization processes in the area of responsibility and are responsible for the continuous improvement of applied standards and processes. Plan and optimize the required resources as well as their use taking into account a multi-project and product environment. They are responsible for the design, optimization and further development of the systems according to the project and customer requirements.

You have a Master/Diplom degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, another Engineering or a comparable subject. They bring very good knowledge and several years of experience in professional and agile software development and programming in the Microsoft ecosystem (C++, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, etc.), as well as in the implementation of software tests and project management. They have detectable experience in the management and development of employees and communicate convincingly and efficiently in German and English. They have several years of experience in managing and managing teams and/or projects in software development or visualization in the international environment. They have knowledge in handling process and project tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps) and central version management (e.g. perforce). Ideally, you have knowledge and experience in requirements engineering methods and in the field of game engineering technologies as well as passion for developing outstanding, technical solutions in complex environments. They occur sovereignly and positively, are quality-oriented, resilient and have a pronounced team and communication capability. They bring about a high degree of solution orientation and self-organization and are characterized by a very independent, reliable, structured and targeted way of working.
