The MEDIAN Centre for Rehabilitation Schmannewitz with 444 beds will be dealing with diseases from psychosomatics, orthopaedics and behavioural orthopaedics, cardiology and oncology as part of rehabilitation measures of German pension insurance (AHB and medical procedures) and health insurance (AHB and medical procedures). Stationary and semi-stationary rehabilitation measures are carried out. The Dahlener Heide site offers a high quality of life thanks to a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities; Leipzig is only an hour drive or 30 minutes by train.

Your main tasks

• They coordinate and manage the care and treatment of our rehabilitation staff in your station areas and conduct regular visits.
• They conduct interviews and dismissals, in particular with regard to the social medicine assessment
• Participation in the medical stand-by service
• Commitment to the psychotherapeutic Supervision, continuing and continuing training of assistant physicians and the multi-professional team
• Participation in quality management and certification support
• Perception of representations in their own sphere of responsibility and instructions of the chief physician
• They are involved in the conceptual development of the department, with the assistance of their own activities.

Your profile

• Consultant (m/w/d) Specialist in psychosomatic medicine, specialist in neurology, FA for Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine or other specialist in the field of psychosomatics
• Multiannual professional experience (unconditional)
• Ideally experience in rehabilitation medicine and interest in social-medical issues
• Knowledge and experience in diagnostics and therapy of psychiatric or psychosomatic diseases
• Valuable and empathic treatment of our rehabilitation
• Openness, especially for cooperation in the multi-professional team and across departments
• Willingness to actively develop new treatment concepts
• Responsibility, flexibility and readiness
