Technical employee in the field of waste management and hazardous waste (m/f/d)

The main task is to cooperate in the project ''Gefahrgut Optimization' set up by 30 June 2030, which includes the construction and optimization of the handling of special waste, including its transport and disposal, at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. This includes, in particular, cooperation in assessment and analysis, developing a multi-site concept, preparation of training courses, counselling offers, Documentation and evaluation of new processes and structures. In addition, the following activities are included: performing operational tasks in the field of waste and special waste management, including care of nitrogen filling plants, advice from RPTU employees and students on all issues of disposal, including special waste, operation of the special waste collection point at the RPTU, support in other projects, e.g. the need-oriented adaptation of a waste and hazardous goods concept; Perception of fire extinguisher management.

The prerequisite is a completed vocational training in the field of supply/disposal, environmental/environmental technology or chemistry, for example as a specialist for circular and waste management. In-depth knowledge of various legislation is required (e.g. TRGS-519, AVV, KrWG, GefStoffV, BImSchG, TA Abfall, BattG, ElektroG, Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC, AbfG, AltholzG, BioAbfV, GewAbfV). Professional experience in waste management and waste disposal as well as the above-mentioned tasks are of advantage. Good written and oral expression (also in English), personal commitment, willingness to work in new areas of responsibility, ability to work in team or self-employed, and service orientation are expected. The readiness to regularly perform business at the Landau site is essential. The possession of a valid class B licence is required.
