In this case, both minimally invasive, catheter-guided interventions and open-surgical processes and so-called hybrid interventions (combination interventions) are carried out, and a modern hybrid OP has been available since 2024. A special focus of the department lies in the minimally invasive procedures and shunt surgery as well as the care of the diabetic foot. The department is certified as a stationary foot treatment facility DDG. In particular, there is close cooperation with the accident surgery department. There is a full training authorization for vascular surgery.
