Tasks

• They are responsible for the technical design and system integration of communication systems including their antenna systems on naval ships. • They conduct request analyses to interpret the system. • They develop specifications and recommendations regarding the necessary antenna and component arrangement plans for naval ships. • They design and evaluate technical system specifications, interface documents and test regulations. • They ensure the physical and functional integration of the system and tune the system interfaces. • They conduct technical coordination with internal and external stakeholders and act as a link between specialist areas, system suppliers and customers. • They are responsible for the management and technical negotiation with system suppliers. • They take over the planning and execution of audits by system suppliers and on board.

Profile

• They bring a completed technical study, preferably in the fields of electrical engineering/communication and information technology, with the focus on high-frequency technology/radio communication, or have a comparable technical training. • You have professional experience in the design of communication systems including their necessary antenna systems. • They have the ability to think across the system and have a good technical understanding. • Ideally, you have already taken over a leading role in the handling of projects together with system suppliers and customers. • Your high resilience, willingness to take responsibility and your ability to enforce them are yours. • Negotiating skills, persuasiveness and a good written expression in German and English round off your profile.
