The Hospice Saint Felix is a stationary hospice with a capacity for 9 guests.

At the next time, we are looking for you as a dedicated, empathic director (m/w/d) for the Hospice Saint Felix in full time – ideally at the latest on 01.11.2026.

General responsibility: for the management and further development of the stationary Hospizes Sankt Felix in Neustadt an der Waldnaab.

Professional, human and economic management: the hospice in compliance with the hospicable-palliative expertise, legal requirements and economic framework conditions.

Leadership, motivation and promotion: the general and honorary employees as well as active design of an appreciation, open team culture at eye level.

Ensuring care: a holistic, hospice-palliative, quality-secured and demand-oriented accompaniment of the guests and their relatives.

Quality and organizational development: in stationary hospice: further development of organization of the building and process, processes, concepts and standards in accordance with the needs of guests, relatives, employees and volunteers.

Cooperation and network management: with regional partners, cost-benefits, authorities, medical-care services, voluntary organisations and supporters of the Hospize.

Public relations: support for active press and public relations and a visible, value-oriented representation of the Hospize in the region.

Compulsory condition: the qualification or personal and professional suitability as a home management/organization management in accordance with the local regulations for Bavaria.

Identification: pronounced identification with the hospicides and enthusiasm for the principles of hospice work and palliative care.

Qualification: completed studies in social affairs/social work, health, nursing management, business management or a comparable degree.

Experience: multiannual professional and management experience in social and healthcare, like in the context of hospice work and palliative care, for example, in the direction of a hospice or comparable institution.

Volunteer Office: Experiences with Volunteer Office or your own volunteer experiences (required).

Competences: pronounced social and communicative skills, empathy, resilience and a high degree of organisational capacity.

Safety of action: safe handling of economic, legal and quality requirements in hospices.

Working: Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation, cross-disciplinary thinking and independent, responsible work in the team.

Values: Identification with the Christian human image as well as the willingness to make it recognizable in attitude, thinking and action.

Additional qualification: Training Palliative Care is advantageous, but no requirement.
