Manufacturing our highly complex products requires a wide range of interconnected processes and data. These processes must be designed, data flows modeled, data management solutions developed, and analytical systems provided to support efficient decision-making. This is exactly where our team makes a difference. As Head of Data Analytics & Data Processes (m/f/x), you will lead a team of highly qualified professionals responsible for driving the implementation of our data strategy across both R&D and manufacturing. Your team develops data processes and designs, builds, and operates systems for managing and detecting process and product data, enabling data-driven innovation throughout the organization. You want... Lead a highly motivated team of approximately 8–15 professionals in the areas of data management processes and data analytics, providing disciplinary, functional, and organizational leadership Work closely with your team and cross-driven partners to further transform ZEISS SMT into a process- and data-driven organization Shape the strategic and technical direction of the group in close collaboration with stakeholders, production, project teams, and the SMT roadmap, enabling your team to achieve sustainable success Identify the competencies and resources required by the group, ensure You are developed or made available as needed, and contribute your own technical and methodological expertise to key projects Ensure the delivery of high-quality development results, including documentation, technical reviews, and reporting

Your profile You have... An excellent university degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), preferably complemented by a PhD Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and managing teams and/or complex projects A passion for motivating people, providing clear direction, and developing teams into high-performing organizations A decisive, results-oriented leadership combined with the confidence to manage challenging situation and resolve conflicts effectively Excellent communication skills in both German and English Several years of experience in the development of technologically complex systems and/or manufacturing processes A strong affinity for process and product data as well as IT architectures, combined with a genuine passion for unlocking maximum business value through the effective use of data
