This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz has been committed for a long time for the energy transition. In our product organization, we develop the Next Generation Control Center Ecosystem MCCS (Modular Control Center System) to meet the requirements of digitalization of the energy transition. In the Engineering Chapter, I work directly on maintenance, monitoring and optimization of the cloud infrastructure. In this context, I have the opportunity to continuously develop my know-how in cooperation with specialists. My tasks: Management: Provide, configure and manage cloud resources on platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud and ensure compliance with best practices for scalability, redundancy and security, Monitoring and maintenance: implementation of monitoring tools for monitoring the performance of cloud systems and for performing regular maintenance tasks and upgrades with regard to system stability, Automation: Development and maintenance of automation scripts to optimize operation and reduce manual interventions, Security and compliance: implementation of security measures to protect cloud environments and regular security checks in order to comply with relevant regulations and standards; Incident Management: Solution of incidents with regard to cloud services (including in the context of a standby service (24*7)) and implementation of cause analyses and implementation of corrective measures; Disaster Recovery and Backup: Planning and implementation of backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity, Collaboration: Close cooperation with development, network and security teams to support cloud-based applications and services, Documentation: Conduct detailed documentation of the cloud infrastructure, processes and procedures and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

At least 3 years of proven experience in cloud operation, preferably in large cloud providers (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud), experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, proven experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes), Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Google Cloud Deployment Manager or ARM Templates, confidentiality with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK stack or the like, Good scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell), Comprehensive understanding of cloud security practices and tools as well as ability to carry out security assessments and implement protection measures, Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, expressed communication and cooperation capabilities, Languages: German (C1), English (C1).
