The EKD coordinates the cooperation of the 20 national churches which are united in it and represents the interests of the Protestant Church in state and society. The coordinating body IT/Meldewesen within the financial department has the task of promoting cooperation on IT, the ecclesiastical reporting and quality assurance in the use of IT procedures.

You analyze strategic IT requirements and develop conceptual foundations for cross-border IT cooperation You initiate and control cooperation and IT projects taking into account complex organisational and federal frameworks You moderate EKD IT workshops and coordination processes and promote exchange and cooperation between stakeholders You represent the areas of expertise in specialist groups, working groups and conferences and provide technical impulses

completed academic studies (Master or University Diploma) of computer science, business informatics or administrative sciences with pronounced IT reference or proven equivalent skills and professional experience multiannual experience in the design, control or coordination of IT-related projects, ideally in complex or cross-organisational structures a good understanding of IT management, IT governance and current developments in digitalization Experience in project management and the moderation of voting and decision-making processes the ability to quickly capture, structure and translate complex facts into sustainable solutions Communication strength safe occurrence and joy of cooperation and networking Knowledge of ecclesiastical or comparable organizational structures is advantageous
