Head of Software Development & Test Automation in Direktvermittlung (m/f/d)

For an innovative, technologically demanding company with medium-sized culture, we are looking for a leading personality as Head of Software Development & Test Automation (m/w/d) in direct switching. In this key position, you take responsibility for a multi-site development team and actively promote the strategic development of modern software platforms, test automation and pioneering technologies. The position combines technical excellence with entrepreneurial thinking and offers exceptionally a lot of design space.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of a multi-site team of software developers, software leaders and external development partners Responsibility for the strategic development of software development, test automation and connectivity Building up modern software and hardware platforms and developing future-oriented product architectures Development of CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks and automated verification processes Introduction and Optimization of Efficient Development Processes, Toolchains and Regulatory Development Standards Promoting the use of AI technologies to increase efficiency, quality and innovation in product development Close cooperation with adjacent areas of expertise and active participation of technological future topics Recruiting, further development and coaching of employees and sustainable development of the software organization

Successfully completed studies of computer science, software engineering or a comparable discipline Multiannual leadership experience in the development of complex software and technology products Knowledge of embedded software, software architectures and modern development platforms Experience with test automation, CI/CD and the establishment of efficient development and verification processes Knowledge of regulatory requirements and requirements management and traceability Ideally experience with AI-based development tools and modern toolchains Very good German and good English skills
