IT Campus Technician (m/f/d)

You install, configure and handle IT hardware and software at our customer locations in Bonn and supports trouble analysis. Your tasks include IMAC/R services (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove) and the processing of technical service requests. You enter and exchange IT technology such as notebooks, monitors, docking stations, headsets, cameras, printers and conference technology. Rollout and roll-in projects are planned and implemented independently and provide users with the IT technology used. Implementation of commissioning tests, complete and comprehensible documentation of the work carried out and services performed. Implementation of patchwork and cabling, including in server rooms. Management of the IT hardware store, its holdings, refueling of hardware before handover to the end user at the campus site and maintenance of hardware sets You recognize optimization potentials in service and support processes and participate in the care and development of the knowledge database.

You have a successfully completed technical training, ideally in the IT environment. Alternatively, you bring multi-year professional experience in IT service management, onsite support or workplace services. Ideally, you already have first experiences as an IT service technician:in collected and are safe and service-oriented in dealing with business customers. You have very good knowledge of hardware support, in particular in clients, printers and networks, as well as a well-founded technical understanding. You will also bring knowledge in the areas of telecommunications and network technology as well as in the installation and configuration of clients and peripheral devices.
