Within the construction project management of Vonovia, our team “Monitoring & Performance Control” ensures data-driven and effective operational control. We recognize deviations early, conduct targeted countermeasures and develop relevant KPIs for the continuous optimization of the processes in the residential building modernization. We monitor our construction projects continuously, structure decision-making data and moderate regional control meetings to guarantee the achievement of targets together with the project management - “on time, on budget, and within scope”.

In this role, you take responsibility from our central department in Bochum for one of our four regional areas to build and further develop a holistic control framework, performance key figures, budgeting and forecast processes as well as ad hoc analyses to support data-driven decision-making processes and optimize operational processes.

You monitor the performance and develop KPIs: you keep an eye on the operational performance of our construction projects and develop early warning systems. You report target deviation forecasts to the operationally responsible department manager. From this, you can enter into the further development of our KPI system You organize control meetings: You initiate and moderate regional control meetings with the responsible department manager and its team management. In case of deviations, in close coordination with the operationally responsible teams, you will initiate appropriate countermeasures You can also configure the budgeting and forecasting processes: you analyze and provide data, check out the forecasts of the project lines (e.g. planning times and CAPEX/cost forecasts) and support the department management in the control, consolidation and finalization in the budgeting and forecasting process You monitor the project pipeline: Through the entire project chain, you monitor volumes to ensure consistent utilization in the operational teams, as well as efficient project throughput. You design frontends: You translate specific needs into user-friendly frontend concepts for dashboards and SAC-Stories and align the implementation with our department-internal BI- & Data Management Team You create control files: Building on existing databases and BI tools, pflegst and optimize control files for the operational teams and decision support for the department manager You carry out ad hoc analyses: you support the department manager and its team leaders with targeted ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions based on data.

Studies: You have completed your studies (e.g. WiWi/BWL/VWL, Economic Engineering, Business Informatics or Similar). Experience: You have several years of experience in Business Analysis, Performance Monitoring, Operation Controlling, Project Controlling or comparable professional experience. Communication: In conversations you understand to moderate and convince. You can show a safe occurrence in appointments with the middle management. Data Competence: You can interpret data, gain insights and derive practical solutions from it. Excel & Power Point: You control common office applications securely and are a professional in Excel (including Pivot, Power Pivot, Power Query) and PowerPoint. Data visualization: Experience in the meaningful visualization of data in the business and business context, ideally with tools such as Think Cell, Lucidchart or comparable, simpler visualization tools.
