The City of Bremerhaven (approximately 120,000 inhabitants:inside) is looking for the newly established specialist service ‘integration aid’ of the ‘special social service’ department of the Office for Youth, Family and Women’s one:n

Social worker:in or Social education:in (w/m/d)

• Group of charges S 14 TVöD (deficit order/VKA) –

for ‘inclusion aid’ (in particular: SGB VIII, SGB IX).

The area of responsibility includes:

• general advice, case-taking, assignment of the help seekers (e.g. by means of a need-determining instrument)
• Participation planning and coordination of different forms of assistance (e.g. outpatient, semi-stationary, stationary)
• Initiation of needs-covering measures, case-related advice, support services (e.g. visits to the respective social area, house visits)
• case-related, cross-sectoral cooperation (e.g. General Social Service, Nursing Children's Service, Child Protection Team, Office Chairs, Schools, Offices, Departments or other institutions in Health, Education or Ordinance)
• Crisis intervention, in particular decisions to avoid the risk of child welfare, inobservation, introduction of family court measures and cooperation with the courts (especially family and guardianship courts)
• expert opinions
• Guidance and training of new professionals and interns
• Network work and professional exchange (e.g. cross-case cooperation and professional reflection in working groups and bodies)
• willingness to participate in the readiness of the Office for Youth, Family and Women.

Preparation for an application is:

A completed study of the Social Work Programme B.A. or the Diplom-Socialpädagogik/Diplom-Sozialarbeit (FH) each with state recognition or a completed degree of study of the degree course of education, medical education or pedagogy.
