Senior Consultant / Projektleiter – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (m/f/d)

As a senior in-house consultant, you are responsible for a steady development of our ERP landscape and are professionally responsible for defined business-central processes and projects. Your position combines process consulting, business analysis, IT project management and application support with the aim of optimizing business processes, increasing the standardization level and ensuring the best possible use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Process management: You analyze business processes along the end-to-end value chain and identify optimization and automation potentials. To do this, you develop target processes for best practices and standard features of Business Central. Consulting and Requirement Management: You will provide advice on the possibilities and limitations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You take requirements, evaluate them and set up concepts for adaptations, extensions and optimizations. In addition, you coordinate changes and development requirements, accompany tests, releases, updates and roll-outs and ensure the documentation. Project management: You conduct IT and digitization projects – from budget and resource planning to risk analysis to the control of internal project teams and external service providers. You always have a look at quality, dates and costs and are regularly in exchange with specialist departments, IT and management for project milestones. Second-level support: You process enquiries and disturbances from first-level support, analyse incidents and problems in business processes and system processes, and ensure a timely fixation of errors. By building a knowledge base, you set a foundation for the continuous improvement of support and service processes. Interface management: You work closely with specialist departments, key users, external partners as well as IT infrastructure and development teams and report to the Head of IT/Application.

Your basis is a completed study of economic informatics, business management or a comparable qualification. You can present several years of professional experience as a consultant, business analyst, application manager or IT project manager (w/m/d) in the ERP environment. Important are very good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV as well as in ERP-related topics such as purchasing, sales, production, warehouse, logistics or finance – knowledge about Microsoft 365, Power Platform or Power BI is of advantage. You are also experienced in project management as well as in the management of cross-departmental projects and coordination of external implementation partners and service providers. You could gain experience in process modeling (e.g. BPMN) and process optimization – thanks to your analytical and conceptual capabilities, it is easy for you to develop solutions-oriented innovative approaches. You have strong consulting skills and communication skills, and you also successfully use your safe English in word and writing. As a team player, you will enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation and will be able to compete with specialist areas, management and service providers.
