The University of Applied Sciences Esslingen is looking for a:n Bibliothekar:in for the Hochschulbibliothek on campus Flandernstraße. Our framework conditions:

• Grouping takes place according to the task transfer and personal requirements up to the pay group 9b TV‐L
• Scope of employment is up to 50 %
• The place is limited to 26.04.2027

Your tasks:

• Implementation of library introductions and training for information literacy
• Resystematisation of library resources
• Support and advice in literature research
• Composite catalogue of print and online media in aDIS/BMS and K10plus
• Working at the library's service library

Your profile:

• Completed study Library and Information Management B.A., Diplom-Bibliothekar:in or comparable degree
• High level of structuring, self-organization, readiness to use and loadability
• Embossed service orientation, communication and team skills
• willingness to take over responsibility and independent working
• Particularly good ability to express yourself in word and writing
• Good computer skills, especially MS Office
• Experience with aDIS/BMS and in cataloging in K10plus
