Property Drainage Engineer

The waste management companies Lübeck are the municipal environmental service provider in the Hansestadt Lübeck. Over 600 employees: around 215,000 inhabitants are targeted and committed to cleaning wastewater, environmentally friendly waste disposal and clean roads and squares. Your tasks are essentially: As a team manager, you will take over the technical management and control of the property drainage team. Together with your team, you will support the plots connected to the public sewer network and take over various tasks in the field of land drainage. Technical direction and approval: You conduct the team professionally and check and approve independent drainage applications. In addition, you will accompany and control the professional implementation of dewatering measures. Technical and technical advice: You advise internal and external participants, in particular builders:inside, citizens:inside and planning offices, on technical and technical issues of land drainage and apply relevant regulations safely. Construction and planning projects: You accompany internal and external new and refurbishment projects as well as the planning department of the waste management companies Lübeck and support all questions relating to land drainage. Digitalization and further development: You continuously develop the application and approval processes and drive their digitalization. You maintain and develop the digital channel database as well as the associated documentation and information options. Exchange with specialist authorities: Within the scope of the delegated powers, you agree to the approval procedures and procedures with other specialist authorities such as water authority and building supervision.

You have completed university studies (Diplom FH, Bachelor or Master) in the field of civil engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable subject, ideally with deepening in urban water management, water management or civil engineering. You have professional experience as well as sound and versatile knowledge in the fields of urban water management and civil engineering. You have knowledge of specialist software and planning tools, in particular AutoCAD or comparable applications, GIS and the common Microsoft 365 applications. You work independently, actively, responsibly and collaboratively and convince with team capacity as well as open and secure communication in dealing with colleagues, planning offices, citizens and other external stakeholders. You are owned by the class B licence.
