The MES Fullstack Developer is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with the Java programming language. You are responsible for the design and development of frontend and backend components for MES applications as well as for the implementation of new functions and modules based on the requirements of the specialist departments. The development and maintenance of interfaces between MES and other IT systems as well as ensuring data consistency and integrity are your tasks. You work in cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design solutions that match the production targets. In case of malfunctions or errors, you stand aside with advice and action. The execution of code reviews and tests, the implementation and maintenance of automated test processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards are in your hands. You participate in project meetings and consultations with stakeholders and support the planning and coordination of development projects. Last but not least, you always keep up with new trends in software development.

You have successfully completed a training as a specialist in application development and have already gained professional experience (at least 2 years). A high level of motivation, team skills and communication skills are yours. You bring well-founded knowledge of the MES system architecture and applications. Software development methods such as Agile or Scrum are not foreign words for you. Experience in the application development with frameworks such as Spring, WildFly, Hibernate, JavaEE/JakartaEE is available to you and you have knowledge of SQL and database design. You are familiar with manufacturing processes and systems. Your work is characterised by excellent problem solving skills, self-employment, team skills, analytics and commitment to continuous learning. Communication in German (flowing) and English (very good) is not a problem for you.
