For the “End-2-End Workplace” business unit, we are looking for an IT system architect – Windows Applications (m/w/d) for the new “End-2-End Individual Application Operation” department at the next possible date for the Hanover or Münster site.

One of the main tasks of the department is the architecture design, deployment and operation of windows-based individual software solutions. In order to support our customers in the best possible way in times of growing regulatory requirements and complex cyber security issues, we develop tailor-made services for application operation and provide applications securely and highly available in our data centers.

In addition to modern technologies and a lot of teamwork, exciting and varied tasks await you in the “End-2-End Individual Application Operation” department. Your tasks:

• Planning, installation and configuration of windows-based applications
• Technical testing and qualification of incoming customer orders
• Development of technical architecture designs taking into account safety, performance and operating requirements
• Coordination with software manufacturers for technical clarification of installation requirements and support questions
• Monitoring system resources, analysis of bottlenecks and proactive optimization
• Error analysis and elimination of system and software problems
• Continuous development and automation of technical processes

Your profile:

• Completed (economic) computer science studies or related studies with IT reference or comparable professional experience
• Multiannual practical experience in the administration of Windows servers incl. Installation and configuration of applications
• Funded knowledge of the creation of technical solutions, especially in the design of application architectures in Windows infrastructures
• Second/Third level support experience incl. Logfile analysis, troubleshooting and documentation during operation
• Structured working methods and a high degree of self-initiative
• Good expressiveness in word and writing to document technical facts in a comprehensible manner and to agree with customers or software manufacturers.
• High service orientation, pronounced communication skills and a solution-oriented approach to customer and partners
