With its services, the team Publication Management supports the members of the University of Ulm (scientists, students) in particular around all aspects of the publication process and in teaching.

Working in Publication Management and Open Access Services Consultation of users in publishing university publications and other documents Care, quality assurance and further development of the institutional repository OPARU including metadata management and formal development Working with the University Bibliography as well as importing, processing and quality assurance of bibliographic data Prepare the OA article data for second publication on OPARU Maintenance and development of standard data, mapping tables and standardized metadata structures

Successfully completed preparation service for the advanced library service or alternatively a completed study (Bachelor, FH Diploma) in the area of library and information management, library science or library and information science Knowledge in the field of scientific publishing and open access, in particular e-publishing, repositories and digital publication platforms Good knowledge of library metadata standards and digital publication and administration processes Knowledge of legal and organizational frameworks of scientific publishing (including copyright, licensing models, second publications) Experience in handling web-based applications, databases and relevant management tools Very good German and English language skills in word and writing Embossed team capacity, loadability, independent working and communication strength
