Construction Director EPCM Industry – Management of large-scale projects in power plant and plant construction (m/f/d)

The design of the technical facilities and buildings we provide in-house as well as all other services of the value chain of the project. For the management and control of the construction, assembly and commissioning of highly complex EPCM projects, we are looking for you and your extensive expertise. You can exercise this activity at a Drees & Sommer location of your choice, e.g. in Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig or Berlin. We require the willingness to monitor the execution process of our demanding plant construction projects on site on the respective construction sites. Superior project management for the construction, assembly and commissioning of large-volume industrial plants in the field of power plant and plant construction

Take responsibility for the setup of the projects and the monitoring and control of the workflows

Total responsibility for the time, quality, and cost-oriented processing of the task packages in the work preparation as well as the construction, assembly and commissioning phases of the respective projects

Responsible for the management of the interdisciplinary construction sites and project managers in the different trade unions

Planning, taxes and coordination of the necessary capacities and resources with a view to achieving the objectives of the projects

Regular reporting to participating stakeholders in the project and central contact for authorities, our customers and contractors at the construction sites

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and occupational safety measures including regular monitoring with regard to their implementation

Active and continuous optimisation of internal processes and processes, as well as the promotion and development of the staff assigned

Successfully completed studies in the field of civil engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification

Long-standing professional and management experience in a comparable position, with overall responsibility for the construction, assembly and commissioning of industrial projects, ideally in the EPC/EPCM environment

Experience in the fields of power plant and process technology, petrochemicals, life science and semiconductors are advantageous

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Unrestricted willingness to stay in the entire federal territory, also in perspective in Europe
